Kauda Sleeping System

Not just a bed. A complete system for proper rest.
Spinal support, pressure relief, cooling, and access don’t work in isolation — they work together.

Kauda System #1

Spinal Alignment → keeps the spine in a neutral position

Problem
Dogs shouldn’t sleep with their spine curved.
When the body sinks into a soft surface, the spine bends out of alignment — especially at the hips and shoulders where most weight is placed. That means the body isn’t properly supported, and muscles stay engaged instead of relaxing.

How Kauda solves it
Core Support System
A structured support base holds the body evenly — preventing sinking and keeping the spine in a neutral, aligned position throughout sleep.

Rule of thumb
Without spinal alignment, there’s no true rest.

Sinking / Soft Bed ❌

- Spine loses alignment
- Uneven support
- Sinks under weight

Kauda System ✅

- Spine stays neutral
- Even support
- No sinking or collapse

Kauda System #2

Cervical Alignment → fixes awkward neck positions

Problem
Dogs shouldn’t sleep with their neck twisted.
When the neck bends out of alignment — whether the head is lifted too high or hanging too low — it has to carry the weight of the head.
That means the neck never fully relaxes during sleep.

How Kauda solved
Low Bolster System

Low, structured edges (bolsters) support the head at the right height — so the neck doesn’t have to carry the weight.

Rule of thumb
If the head isn’t supported, the neck carries the head’s weight.

Bolster too high ❌

→ Neck bends upward — strain
→ Head is pushed up unnaturally
→ Neck carries the head’s weight
→ Neck can’t fully relax

No head support ❌

→ Head hanging — strain
→ Neck is pulled down by the head’s weight
→ Neck can’t fully relax

Kauda System ✅

→ Neck and spine aligned
→ Head fully supported
→ Neck fully relaxed

Kauda System #3

Pressure Relief → distributes weight away from joints

Problem
Dogs shouldn’t sleep with pressure concentrated on their joints.
Most dogs are side sleepers — weight naturally concentrates on the shoulders and hips.
Comfort should reduce pressure, not create it. When pressure builds, rest becomes discomfort.

How Kauda solves it
Comfort Layer System
A dual-layer design — structured support base + comfort layer — distributes weight evenly, so pressure doesn’t build up at the hips and shoulders.

Rule of thumb
If a bed doesn’t relieve pressure, it’s as good as the floor.

Without Confort Layer ❌

- Pressure concentrates on joints
- Shoulders & hips take the load
- Blood circulation is reduced
- Leads to stiffness

With Comfort Layer ✅

- Pressure distributes evenly
- Shoulders & hips are cushioned
- Blood circulation is maintained
- Wakes up comfortable

Kauda System #4

Easy Access → prevents jumping in and out

Problem
Small dogs shouldn’t have to jump to go to bed.
Getting in and out should be effortless.
If a dog needs to jump, the bed is too high.
Over time, that impact adds up.

How Kauda solves it
Low Entrance Front

Designed for easy step-in, step-out — without jumping.

Rule of thumb
If a dog needs to jump, the bed is too high.

Tall Bolsters / Jump ❌

- Requires jumping
- Repeated joint impact
- Strain over time

Low Entrance / Step ✅

- Easy step-in
- No jumping required
- Reduces risk of injury

Kauda System #5

Temperature Control → prevents heat build-up during rest

Problem:
Singapore is hot and humid — and most beds make it worse.
Fluffy fabrics trap heat instead of releasing it. When heat builds up, dogs can’t settle or stay asleep.

How Kauda solves it
Breathable and Cooling Fabrics
Breathable and cooling fabrics that allows heat to dissipate instead of being trapped — keeping the sleeping surface cooler.

Rule of thumb
If it traps heat, it’s not made for Singapore.

Faux Fur ❌

- Retains heat
- Feels warm over time
- Dog prefers the floor

Wool Fleece ❌

High-pile and fluffy fabrics trap heat and humidity.
They’re not suitable for Singapore

Cooling Fabrics ✅

Breathable and cooling to touch.
Cooling yarn is designed to don’t trap heat

Short-Pile Fabrics ✅

Breathable and soft to touch.

Open Loop - Bouclé ✅

Breathable and soft to touch.

Kauda System #6

Space to Stretch → allows full-body rest and heat release

Problem
Dogs shouldn’t be confined when they sleep.
They regulate heat through movement — stretching, rotating, shifting to release warmth.
They need space to fully stretch and reposition.
When space is limited, the body stays curled and heat builds up. Without enough room, rest becomes restricted and uncomfortable.

How Kauda solves it
Generous Sleeping Surface
Designed to support full-body stretch and natural repositioning throughout sleep.
Open, Unrestricted Layout
Allows dogs to move freely and release heat without being confined.

Rule of thumb
If they can’t fully stretch, the bed is too small.

No Space to Stretch ❌

Heat builds up when dogs can’t adjust position

Extra Space to Stretch ✅

Dogs adjust naturally to regulate temperature

Kauda System #7

Rotation Covers → keeps the bed clean, fresh, and long-lasting

Problem
One cover isn’t enough for daily use.
Covers take on dirt, moisture, and oils every day.
If there’s no rotation, the same cover wears out faster — and hygiene drops between washes. Without a system, cleanliness becomes inconsistent.

How Kauda solves it
Rotation Covers System
Multiple covers, on rotation. Swap covers regularly — one in use, one in wash, one ready.
Keeps the bed consistently clean while reducing wear on each cover.

Rule of thumb
If you’re not rotating covers, you’re wearing one out.

At Kauda, we don’t compromise.
Not on neck and spinal support.
Not on pressure relief.
Not on easy access.
Not on natural movement.
Not on breathable, cooling fabrics.
Not on longevity.

That’s what the Kauda Sleeping System stands for.

If these principles align with yours, you’re in the right place.
